It is with deep regret that we have to move our event The Way we Were on dry land today Sunday the 9th July 23.

The boat company was advised by the Met Police about an anonymous tip off from a member of the public that a serious incident was about to happen on the Pier

(Seems like bad mind and jealousy is at play here)

The anonymous caller called crimestoppers so their identity can be obscured.

The way we were team apologises to its regular customers for this inconvenience, but our hands are tied. Well done to that imbecile, If our people use THAT boat again in that company, everyone who attends again will have to undergo risk assessment. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Everyone will get a full refund who bought tickets 🎟, so please go back to the source of purchase. Anyone who bought online will be reimbursed on your method of payment. This will start tomorrow and take 5-7 working days depending on who you bank with.

Albeit we have secured a venue for everyone that was coming so your enjoyment will not be spoilt, its FREE for everyone before 8.pm just like the boat times, and only a mere £10 after
